Eligibility / Criteria

The Rozsa Foundation funds Calgary-based not for profit arts organizations that have charitable registration numbers. The Foundation funds performing arts, literary, visual arts and festivals. Typically, the Foundation supports between ten and fifteen organizations each year, and strives to ensure that there is a mix of artistic genres, and variety in the size of companies.

Contributions to endowments may be considered. The Foundation does not fund travel expenses, administrative salaries nor provide deficit financing. Start-up programs are eligible and new projects are always welcomed.

The primary objective of the Rozsa Foundation is to strengthen local arts organizations. When reviewing a funding request, the following aspects of your organization will be the most important considerations: governance, financial stability, and the capacity to carry out the proposed initiative.

Successful applicants can expect to work directly with a Rozsa Foundation member.

PLEASE NOTE: Your organization must have their own Charitable Registration Number - you may not sign up, or apply for a grant using another organization's number
