Action Learning Project Grants
Through the course of the Rozsa Foundation’s Rozsa Arts Management Program (RAMP), participants select an existing challenge within their organization and will work closely with a faculty mentor to design and implement a plan to address it. This plan, an Action Learning Project (ALP), is designed to move the work of RAMP participants forward in an impactful and measurable way. In support of their work, the Rozsa Foundation provides Action Learning Project Grants to organizations, which help support bringing the participants’ ALPs to fruition.
Rozsa Foundation Action Learning Project Grants are awarded in amounts up to $5,000 and are not subject to the granting deadlines that apply to our other granting streams. Instead, applications will be assessed on an ongoing basis, with a response typically received within three weeks from the date the application is submitted. Action Learning Project Grants are also not limited to the types of initiatives supported by our other grant streams, though organizations must still meet our eligibility requirements.
When applying for an Action Learning Project Grant, organizations should address the following in the project description:
How does the ALP fit in with the organization’s strategic plan?
What impact do you anticipate the ALP having on the organization?
Who in the organization will be involved in implementing the ALP?
Is this a challenge the organization would be looking at if it weren’t for the ALP?
How does the work to be done through the ALP continue the learning of the RAMP participant?
We strongly encourage potential applicants to discuss their proposal with Rozsa Foundation staff prior to application to ensure program fit and maximize the chance of success. NEW IN 2019: You will be asked to upload a project budget as part of your application.
